Definitions
In the following sections ‘we’ and ‘us’ refers to Andante Yachting and ‘you’ refers to you, our customer.
Bookings, scheduling and deposits
Individual Bookings are accepted on a ‘first come – first served’ basis.
Booking confirmation - we regard your booking as confirmed at the point that we issue you with an invoice. At that point the course fee becomes due in full and must normally be paid before the start of your course.
Club and group bookings will normally only be agreed and accepted by us on the basis of our written quotation detailing the cost, location, class size and date(s). We normally ask for a written confirmation and 10% deposit to confirm the booking.
Payments, prices and cancellation
Full payment must be received prior to the start date of your booking. If you cancel, and we are able to resell your booking, we will refund all your payments apart from the deposit.
If you have to cancel we will endeavour to reschedule your course. We do not normally offer refunds for a booked place on a classroom course.
All prices include VAT where applicable.
Smoking, alcohol and recreational drugs
We operate a total 'no smoking' policy in the classroom.
Non availability
If we have to cancel your booking for any reason we will offer an alternative booking, or refund all payments (including your deposit) in full. This is the full extent of our liability to you.

Negligence
If, due to your negligence, any damage is caused to the classroom, its facilities or to our equipment we may ask you to pay for, or contribute to, the cost of repair or replacement.
Location
Scheduled classes are normally run from our base in Banstead.
If we are teaching at your location you are responsible for the supply of a suitable teaching area, power supplies etc. We may cancel a course without refund if teaching is impossible due to problems with the location organized by you.
Students not resident in the UK
You are welcome. The total fee (in Sterling and net of all bank and currency conversion charges) that we receive must be the amount quoted. If you pay by credit card this will be handled for you.
General
We are registered under the Data Protection Act. We will not disclose information on our files about you unless we are legally obliged to or you have agreed in advance in writing. You confirm, by enrolling, that we may hold necessary business information about you. We will exclude you from our mailing list at your request.
Any contract between you and us shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. All dealings, correspondence and contacts between us shall be made or conducted in the English language.
