Skippered Charter and Experience Building
One excellent way to build your skills and gain experience is to sail with an experienced skipper to what may well be new waters for you. The choices are endless:
- If you have a suitable boat then this may be an ideal way to learn more about her and visit new sailing areas.
- We run an annual 5 day cruise on Classmate and you can book a berth on her.
Skippered Charter
Make up a group and the options widen. We can provide a skipper and either you or we can charter a suitable vessel or we can use Classmate. It does not have to be in UK waters so the world is literally your cruising ground.
- You can sail without the pressures of a practical course. You’ll experience the pleasures of cruising while developing your skills by taking part in all aspects of yacht handling and management. We like to limit the number of participants to about four so that everybody gets plenty of opportunity to navigate and handle the boat. Much depends on the size of boat and number of people involved.
- It may be possible to combine some cross-channel sailing with an RYA course and mix training with a holiday. Please check with us if this sounds interesting. Incidentally any scheduled course can be converted into a skippered charter.
